We are working on behalf of a large corporate organisation who is a leader in the Building industry. Due to promotion they are now looking to recruit 2 x Sales Consultants to join the Sales & Marketing Team. You will be working on-site at various locations so clean drivers licence is essential. The company offer an attactive basic salary plus commission (uncapped) plus car or allowance.

Primary Job Purpose

To deliver the end to end sales process for agreed site(s), accountable for delivering agreed targets for reservations, completions, price levels and customer satisfaction.

  • Accountable for the end to end sales process which encompasses lead generation and qualification; developing interest and commitment; closing sale and negotiating pricing; and ensuring customer remains informed, engaged and committed through to the final sales completion and move.

Key Responsibilities

To deliver end to end sales process:

  • Working with the Customer Relationship Manager to engage and develop the database of potential customers and qualify and attract suitable leads
  • Working with the marketing and digital teams to stimulate local interest in the site
  • Supporting marketing events and customer meetings to generate interest in the lifestyle and product from potential customers
  • Systematically following through on all leads created for the site to qualify genuine prospects, ensuring strong conversion for the site
  • Managing the show complex, ensuring it is well maintained and attractive for potential customers
  • Working with Entitlements Advisor, Management Services, House/Estate Manager and DPM to build rapport and confidence with potential customers, and to ensure they have a full understanding of proposition, lifestyle, benefits and potential sales/tenure options
  • Negotiating and closing the sale in order to secure reservations from suitably qualified customers
  • Keeping customers fully informed, engaged and committed after reservation through to completion and their move
  • Actively supporting new residents through the move process and ensuring it is a positive experience with a clear hand over to the House/Estate Manager

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience selling high value products is advantageous, however candidates with relevant skill sets appropriate to the role will be considered
  • Training will be provided in sales methods, products, literature and IT

  • Strong questioning and listening skills – to gain a genuine understanding of the customers’ requirements and to ensure you gather all relevant information

  • Ability to handle and manage difficult conversations with customers and third parties
  • Commercial awareness
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process (may be personal experience rather than industry experience)
  • Good standard of Microsoft Office and capability of working with workflow systems such as Salesforce. Training in the required applications will be provided
