Marketing Manager

We are looking for a commercially astute and highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our Client’s commercial team. You will develop marketing plans and implement highly targeted campaigns across the full marketing mix, with a heavy focus on digital and local/regional channels.

You will build market, channel and customer insights to set stretching targets, track performance and drive continual improvements. You’ll strive to optimize campaign effectiveness at every opportunity and ensure your work makes the maximum impact.

Your work will be instrumental in delivering the growth targets within the business plan, through new product launches that generate new sales, and in improving the online customer experience. In return, you’ll be working within a thriving team where you will be instrumental in driving forward the next chapter for our business. This is a challenging and hugely rewarding role that will provide plenty of scope to broaden your skillset.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven multi-channel marketing experience in B2B and B2C markets
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent with excellent copywriting and budgeting skills
  • Strong understanding of digital, technically proficient in delivering digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills, commercially astute and able to work well with others
  • Highly skilled at managing multiple projects with overlapping delivery schedules and conflicting priorities
  • Highly competent in working with and managing others, including internal teams and external suppliers (including creative, print, digital and PR)
  • Very organised with high attention to detail
  • Full UK Driving Licence and your own transport

Responsibilities:

  • A strong understanding of digital, technically proficient in delivering digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to support the delivery of the targets outlined within the business plan across all key markets
  • Create integrated multi-channel segmented campaigns
  • Develop a strong market understanding to identify opportunities and maximise appeal
  • Seek to optimise quality, effectiveness and ROI, setting stretching targets and tracking impact, using performance reports and customer insights to drive continual improvement
  • Lead the internal communication cascade to staff for new launches and key programmes
  • Extensive experience of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Skilled in working with external suppliers including creative, print, digital and PR

Desirable Requirements:

  • Proven experience of reviewing, developing and improving design work and content to deliver great customer value
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, Adobe, CMS / WordPress, print and fulfilment techniques
